We are an innovative, industry-focused university located at the heart of London’s newest creative community on the Greenwich Peninsula. We are champions of creativity and collaboration, dedicated to giving our learners the specialist skills and opportunities they need for outstanding careers in digital media and design.
With a community of 2,600 students, we offer practice-based digital media and design courses from foundation to undergraduate and postgraduate level. These span animation, television and broadcasting, product design, architecture, graphic design, fashion, photography, music and sound design, and illustration
One of London’s newest universities, we were awarded university title by the Privy Council in May 2018. Across our 60+ year history, fashion designer Stella McCartney, music legend David Bowie, 2012 Olympic torch designer Jay Osgerby and Oscar winning producers Simon Egan and Gareth Ellis-Unwin have walked through our doors.
We moved to our iconic, modern, and purpose built location in September 2010. The building, designed by Foreign Office Architects, won a British Construction Industry Award in 2011.
Over the years we have fostered relationships and forged partnerships with a range of organisations, from local companies to well-known organisations such as Amazon, the BBC, Ogilvy and Vivienne Westwood. The results are reflected in our strong track record in graduate employment. A total of 96% of our graduates go in to work or further study within six months of completing their course.
We empower our students to think commercially and collaboratively as well as creatively, as we know that to thrive in industry, they need the resilience and confidence to succeed alongside the right practical skills.
