Executive Recruitment

As a relatively new university, with a distinguished pedigree at the cutting edge of the digital media and design industries, we are scaling ourselves for considerable growth and development over the next five years.

We are looking for two exceptional leaders to join the executive leadership team to help the university in achieving its full potential and I hope that you will be interested in joining us.

The creative and digital economy is a major driver for growth in the UK and internationally. The university aspires to inspire young people from diverse backgrounds to rise to the opportunities in these sectors as well as develop their knowledge and skills to contribute to the betterment of society at large.

We have a strong base on which to build. The university is housed in an iconic building on Greenwich

Peninsula at the centre of an expanding entertainment and residential hub that is home London’s newest area dedicated to the creative industries, the Design District.

We have a reputation for being at the cutting edge of digital media and design and are committed to fostering close links with the creative ecomony. We have one of the highest levels of graduate employment in Europe.

Our small size affords us the agility to pursue exciting creative opportunities and explore emerging fields of interest in our industry. We provide more than practical, digitally-focused courses. We care about our students and help them unlock their creative talent. We produce graduates that flourish as innovative, self-sustaining practitioners that enable the design and media industries to continue to thrive.

These are key roles for Ravensbourne and are part of the executive leadership team responsible for developing and implementing the University’s strategic priorities. You will be an advocate for inclusivity and champion a culture that encourages everyone to challenge themselves and others to be the best they can be.

The Director of People and Culture is an exciting opportunity to play an important role in creating a fully engaging and inclusive culture and leading the implementation of our People Strategy. We are looking for talented leaders with experience of embedding ED&I practices and delivering cultural change from across the education and wider public and not-for-profit sectors.

As Director of IT you will be a champion of the opportunity for information and technological development to support and drive strategic growth and development.  You will have responsibility for establishing and executing the enterprise-wide IT. We are looking for talented leaders who can work across a complex but innovative and exciting environment, delivering strong business engagement, service improvement, customer focus and innovative solutions.
